Teignmouth Science Festival

19th March

4-30 to 5-30pm

Musical Squares

Multi-media Presentation

led by Mike and Wendy Gluyas

Suitable for anyone over the age of 8

The audience discovered the physics behind making noise,

and the many ways sound is used

from industry to medicine.

A 'lie-detection' test for deafness was demonstrated, plus illusions that fooled the ear instead of the eye.

This phenomenally successful presentation

took the audience on a

breathless, whirlwind tour of the world of sound.

Physicist Mike Gluyas and his wife Wendy

brought the science of sound to life,

with visual spectacle and lots of audience participation.

Amazing but true!

At the last count...

[November 2009]

...since the first performance in 1967

over 350,000 people

throughout the world

have enjoyed

Musical Squares
